Livin' every day just tryin' to be a better human.
I live in the Bay Area. A few things I enjoy: coffee. travel. walking. yoga. hella old Berkeley granolas.
Some things I'd like to do in my lifetime:
1. Help someone face his/her fears
2. Learn how to make latte art
3. Be a ski bum
4. Work for a newspaper
5. Attend the four major tournaments of tennis -- Wimbledon, French Open, Australian Open, US Open
6. Run a 5k (X - 10k Turkey Trot on 11/22/12
7. Run Bay to Breakers (X - 5/19/13)
8. Immerse myself in a Buddhist community (again - and mean it)
9. Swim in clear blue water
10. Complete a full inversion in my yoga practice
11. See (in no particular order) Kings of Leon, Jay-Z, Ludacris, Coldplay and John Mayer in concert
12. Live in Portland, Seattle and DC
13. Roast my own coffee
14. Camp at an outdoor music festival (X - DMB @thegorge, twice)
15. Go to a PAC 10 and BCS football game (X - Oregon v. Stanford. GO DUCKS)
16. Go to a hockey game (X - Anaheim Ducks)
17. Adopt a puppy
18. Take a vacation with my Dad (X - Bay Area)
19. Ski at Whistler
20. Get married
21. Donate blood
22. Go camping in Yosemite (X - 11/3/12, EBL, JG & AS)
23. Hike Half Dome
24. Pick my own tea leaves
25. Host a tea party
26. Help someone learn how to do a life skill (ride a bike, cook, drive a stick shift, sew a button)
27. Grow a garden
28. Go wine tasting (X - St. Augustine, FL)
29. Be a mentor (X - GPB. Can't stop, won't stop.)
30. Give a gift (X)
31. Stay at a bed and breakfast (X - San Francisco, CA)
32. Volunteer my time (X - GPB)
33. Stay in a hostel
34. Go to the Kentucky Derby (big hat, sun dress and all) (X - May 2011)
35. Shave my head
36. Grow dreads
37. Donate to locks of love (X - March 2012)
38. Tie a tie
39. Go apple picking
40. Be someone's date to an event that is very important to them (X - EBL, @Nick&Bethany'sWedding)
41. Go tubing during the summer
42. See a concert at Red Rocks (X - Dispatch, TWICE)
43. Walk across the Golden Gate Bridge (X - 4/13/13)
44. Kiss in the rain (X)
45. Be snowed in
46. Go to the Sundance Film Festival
47. Create a traditional snow man (three rounds, scarf, carrot nose, top hat)
48. Play the cello
49. Get a hot rocks massage
50. Experience -20 weather
51. See the pyramids
52. Go to Greece
53. Run a half marathon (X - 2/3/13)
54. Go skydiving
55. Run Hood to Coast with my closest friends
